The recently formed National Office of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Zealand has one staff member, Dave Marshall, the National Director.

Local agencies – Staff and Boards
While every Big Brothers Big Sisters agency subscribes to a uniform set of standards and procedures, the infrastructure of each local agency varies from location to location. In some areas police are a key partner providing staff and office space. In other areas the programme operates within a host organisation such as a child support service. And in some locations the agency is a stand alone not-for-profit organisation.
Regardless of the structure, each agency employs professional staff who coordinate the programme, support the matches, and work alongside the young people and their families. The local agency is overseen by a voluntary governance board.
Local agency boards are always keen to talk to people who are interested in being a trustee on the board. Please contact the agency nearest you to discuss this further.
